Far Reaching Impact
We at Champaign Rotary have made an impact in many lives across the globe.
Here are a couple of examples.
Providing Water In Kenya
We drilled a water well project for Faulu Academy in Kenya, which we call, “Esther’s Well,” after Dr. Esther Ngumbi, who started this school with her parents.
We heard that this school had no water, so we went to work. The video to the left shows the first day the children had clean water.
Malawi, Mexico,
and Kenya
We also provided survival gardening workshops in Malawi, equipment for the vocational training of teens and single mothers in Mexico, a 3-wheeler for a Polio survivor Kenya, and a pump and pipe water project in Zimbabwe.
